Ralableau “Ray” Brooks

We stand with the Brooks  and connected family members whom have been stricken with sadness yet moments to  rejoice as no more pain, suffering and heartache on this side will be endured for our beloved, Ralableau “Ray” Brooks, 43 of Elizabeth City, NC who transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Holy Trinity Community Church with Elder JC Purkett, officiating. Viewing will take place one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. 

Mr. Brooks leaves to cherish his memories: loving mother,  Thelma L. Brooks; step-mother, Rita F. Brooks; step-father, Dennis W. Brooks; siblings, Stacey Seymore, Sabrina Hoffler, Tanya Ferebee, Sonya (Everett) Dawson, Patty Harmon, Elton Ferebee and Herbert (Tameka) Ferebee; step-sister, Shemika (Travon) Shanky; step-brothers, Jamar (Veronica) Brooks and Jonathan (Wanda) Brooks; special friends, Ashley , Dr. Rinardo and Joseph Tucker whom proceeded him in death; and a  host of aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Final Care and Compassionate Services will be expressed through love, care and uncompromising dignity by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
