John Thomas Sykes, age 93, of Powells Point, NC, peacefully made his transition on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Sentara Nursing Center, Barco, NC.
Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Powells Point, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
