Jessie Mae (Gilliam) White

Our beloved, Jessie Mae White, 97 of 211 Covent Garden Street, Hertford, NC, departed from this earthly life on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. 

Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Missionary Church, Hertford, NC. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her loving children, Oscar White (Katie) of Hertford, NC, Leora Brown of Merry Hill, NC, Mary White (Chris), Earl L. White, Sr., (Dorcas) and Connie G. White, all of Hertford, NC and Isaac S. White (Vernell) of Elizabeth City, NC; eighteen grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the White and connected families by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations, Elizabeth City.
