Our beloved, James Alvin "Spook" Leigh, age 59 of Elizabeth City, NC, silently left this world on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his residence.
The family has elected to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
"Spook" leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Tyronda Joyner (Curtis) of Greensboro, NC and Jenile Glasper (Andre) of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Sharon K. Riddick of Fayetteville, NC, Patricia Brown of Elizabeth City, NC and Joyce Ann Stephenson of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, James Brown (Jerri) of Brooklyn, NY and Willie Brown of Vancouver, Canada; five grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
