With humbled hearts, we stand with this loving Sylvester family, to announce the passing of Mother Evelyn Seymore Sylvester, age 90 formerly of Elizabeth City, NC. She transitioned from this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Bronx Park Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside Services will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at New Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Dr. Vickie Joyner, officiating.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Sharon Sylvester of Elizabeth City, NC and Shirley Midgette of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being expressed to the Sylvester family by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
