Darelle Michael Dance, age 33 of 1400 Walkers Avenue Apt. 96, Elizabeth City, NC, transitioned from this life on Sunday,  November 19, 2017.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Community Church, Elizabeth City, NC with Pastor Samuel T. Stallings, officiating. Interment will in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Donna Dance, 904 Parkview Drive, Elizabeth City, NC. 

Darelle leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Donna Dance, of Elizabeth City, NC; father, Carmichael Harris (Pamela), of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Keyna Dance, Mechelle Dance, and Ricketa Sutton, all of Elizabeth City, Vanessa Williams (Tobias), of Germany, and Renisha Saunders, of Galloway, NJ; one brother, Carmichael Saunders, of Greenville, NC; paternal grandparents, Margarite Jones, of Elizabeth City, and Jollifer Harris (Pecolia), of Camden, NC; a special friend, Altor Smith; a special godson, Cameron Herring; three aunts, Gloria Jackson (Lonnie), Belivine Harris, Derwanda Harris; nine uncles: Carris Dance (Janice), Rufus Dance (Andrea), Jollifer Harris, Jr. (Cynthia), Darrion Harris (Elizabeth), Troy Bailey (Tonya), Bervin Harris (Jackie), Tony Harris, Thaddeus Harris, and Darryl Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
