Our Beloved, Beaulah Beatrice Overton Moore, age 95 of 311 Red Bank Road, Hertford, NC, transitioned from this life during the early mornings of June 26, 2018 at the Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family bidding her farewell.
The family will celebrate her years of love, encouragement and forever giving compliments on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Poole's Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hertford, NC with the Rev. Linwood Turner, Officiating. She will then rest next to her husband in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Moments of Viewing and Meditation with "Ma Beaulah" will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.
She leaves behind 95 years of love and legacy to: her loving children, Ricky L. Moore (Janice) of Moyock, NC, Samuel J. Moore, Sr., (Cherral) of Richmond, VA, Michael I. Moore (Teresa) of Hertford, NC, Phyllis A. Moore of Bear, De and Anthony R. Moore of Wendell, NC; three sisters, Doris Moore, Virginia Williams and Hazel Purvis, all of Elizabeth City, NC; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Overton of Waterbury, Ct and Judy Overton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Ma Beaulah's last words to us down here would be...
