Veronica (Skinner) Darden

The End of Watch for Mrs. Veronica Skinner Darden, age 50, affectionately known as "Ronnie" of Belvidere, NC, came as she transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 12, 2017. 

There will be TWO services to commemorate her life, both open to the public on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Complex Floyd L. Robinson Auditorium on the campus of Elizabeth City State University and 2:00 pm. at her church, Bay Branch A.M.E. Zion Church, Belvidere, NC. Her casketed remains will be transported with distinct care and honor by a horse-drawn caisson prior to the 10 am service. 

"Ronnie" leaves to cherish her memories: loving husband, Eric Darden, of the home; two daughters, Jasmine Devona Herring of Greenville, NC and Joy "Missy" Darden of Grandy, NC; loving mother, Audrey Moore, of the home; one sister, Dyrel Nowell of Winfall, NC; two brothers, Clinton Skinner of Orlando, Fl and George Moore of Hertford, NC; one granddaughter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the Darden and connected families by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
