Gene Vernell Harvey

Mr. Gene V. Harvey, age 63 of 433 Grandy Road, Grandy, NC, transitioned from this life peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his residence. 

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Jarvisburg, NC with Pastor Curtis Brinkley, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in state from 11:00 am until time of service. 

He leaves to cherish his memories; one daughter, Myra V. Everette, of Grandy, NC; one son, Darrell L. Everette (Danielle) of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Sandra Harvey and Maggie Sanders, both of Jarvisbur, NC; one brother, Joseph Harvey of Powells Point, NC; four grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the Harvey and connected families by, Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
