Donovan Brown

Mr. Donovan Brown, 65 of Merry Hill, NC, transitioned from this life, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

Celebration of life will take place on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the First Baptist Missionary Church, Hertford, NC. He will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Williamston, NC. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife, Leeora W. Brown, of the home; father, Mr. Andrew Brown of Williamston, NC; one sister, Colette Brown of Williamston, NC; one brother, Jerome Brown (Gwen) of Raleigh, NC; mother-in-law, Jessie Mae White of Hertford, NC; two sisters-in-law, Mary White (Chris) and Connie White of Hertford, NC; three brothers-in-law, Oscar White (Katie) and Earl White (Dorcas) of Hertford, NC and Isaac Stanley White (Rev. Vernell) of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the Brown and connected families, by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations, Elizabeth City.
